Chauhan Infotech (“we”, “us”, or "our") operates EasyTask, a multi-tenant work management platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application and services.
By using EasyTask, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our services.
1. Information we collect
- Organization details such as business name, address, GSTIN, and industry when you create a workspace.
- User profile information including name, email address, phone number, job title, and profile photo.
- Work data you create inside EasyTask: tasks, leads, contacts, messages, calendar events, files, approvals, comments, and activity logs.
- Authentication data from secure sign-in providers (Google, email/OTP) and session tokens managed by our backend.
- Optional integration data such as WhatsApp Business, Meta, Instagram, and YouTube tokens, stored encrypted and never shared publicly.
2. How we use your data
- To provide the EasyTask workspace, dashboards, task boards, pipelines, calendars, and notifications.
- To enforce role-based access and strict organization-level isolation so each tenant sees only its own data.
- To send operational messages such as task reminders, visit reminders, and security alerts.
- To improve reliability, diagnose errors, and generate aggregated usage statistics that never identify individuals.
3. Data storage and security
- All data is stored in cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Every table is protected by Row-Level Security (RLS) policies scoped to your organization.
- Sensitive tokens and credentials are encrypted and only decrypted by authenticated server functions for their specific purpose.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to third parties.
4. Sharing and integrations
- We only share data with third-party services when you explicitly connect them (e.g., WhatsApp Cloud API, Meta Pages, YouTube).
- Each integration is granted the minimum permissions required and can be revoked from the Settings page at any time.
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics may be shared with service providers under strict confidentiality obligations.
5. Your rights and choices
- Workspace administrators can export, edit, or delete leads, tasks, and employee records subject to role permissions.
- You can request a copy of your personal data or ask us to delete it by contacting our privacy team.
- You may disconnect social integrations, change notification preferences, or close your workspace from the account settings.
6. Retention and updates
- We keep your data for as long as your workspace is active, plus a reasonable retention period for legal, billing, and security purposes.
- This policy may be updated as laws or features change. The effective date is shown at the top of this page.
- Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
